Our program is not just a survey course--it is a "hands on" training program. Our aim is for you to work confidently and successfully in the field of design and ecological living.
The education you will receive at Holis will not only give you important theory and background, you will gain the opportunity for plenty of "hands on" experience. You will meet specialists, interact with important resources, practice your design skills, and "learn the ropes" with actual clients in their homes. This is more than just an education--it is actual experience in an exciting and developing field.
Certification is granted to those students who demonstrate an aptitude and facility with these methods, and a drive to put these valuable theories and resources to work.
To help you thrive as a consultant, we will also be teaching you the means for marketing yourself in this field, so you might even be working with your own clients before you graduate.

- Renovation of an entire wing of a hospital, to bring feng shui design and healthy elements to the health care facility
- A workshop series on the emotional impact of design and architecture
- A speaking series at Home Depot in New York on healthy design
- A professional practice that integrates healthy design with nutrition and wellness
- A study of the design needs for the elderly
